TEAM MEMBERS

Clint D. Tunnell

Is the founder and CEO of Texas Rural Living, Inc on the north side of the historic square in Comanche, Texas;  the County in which his family settled in in 1853.

Born in Blanket, Texas, Clint graduated from Blanket High School in 1998 and then Tarleton State University in 2003 with a degree in Agriculture Services and Development.  At the age of 8, he began mowing lawns around his small community which in turn led to becoming a business owner by the time he reached Junior High.  Being ‘self-raised’ in business, he came to understand that customer service is the key to success…in any business. Putting the needs and desires of the client/customers is the #1 priority in owning a business.

Texas Rural Living, Inc was established in 2005 as a landscape, irrigation and property management company. Over the years, Texas Rural Living has established life long, professional and personal relationships with 100s of customers and clients. In late 2018 and early 2019, Texas Rural Living, Inc expanded its reach into the real estate industry by establishing Texas Rural Living Land & Real Estate Group.  In the Fall of 2019 Texas Rural Living expanded its reach once again by establishing Texas Rural Living-Insurance Agency, owned by Clint’s wife Jami and continuing the Texas Rural Living tradition of customer service and satisfied clients once again.  All together known as the Texas Rural Living-Business Group.

Clint has been a Licensed Irrigator since 2006 and a License Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester since 2008.  He obtained his real estate license in 2019 and has been serving the great folks of Comanche, Hamilton, Mills, Bosque and Brown Counties and the surrounding area with respect, pride and integrity and keeping customer service his #1 priority.  Attention to detail, ensuring his clients desires and dreams are accurately achieved is one of the characteristics that sets him apart in all industries.

Clint’s companies are located at 109 West Grand on the north side of the historic square in Comanche, Texas.  Home of the incrediBULL, original Bull Durham Tobacco mural that was painted in 1893.

The Tunnell family roots are deep in Comanche and Comanche County, going back to 1853 when his great great great grandfather settled just southwest of the current day townsite of Comanche.  Serving the people of Comanche, Brown, Bosque, Eastland, Erath, Mills and surrounding counties is something Texas Rural Living, Inc continues to pride itself on and continues to establish many new relationships through the Texas Rural Living Business Group.

Clint is the husband of Jami Tunnell and the proud father of Carter, Parker & Bec Tunnell. He is an active member of the Blanket United Methodist Church, the Comanche Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture, the Comanche County Task Force Committee,  the Texas Irrigation Network Board, the Blanket Community Center Board of Directors, serves on the Friends of Historic Comanche Preservation Society and is a past member of the Comanche Historical Museum Board of Directors.
